The MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics, an international leader in the field of supply chain management and logistics.

Why

CTL wanted its website to offer more content to partner organizations and better promote its advanced degree programs and the cutting-edge research the Center conducts. It also planned to migrate the site to a new content management system and wanted to take advantage of the system's capabilities for serving dynamic content.

Wow

We interviewed CTL's partners and graduate students about their perception of and experiences with the organization. Based on the results of the interviews, we developed a site map and wireframe diagrams that helped CTL and their visual designer focus on the site organization and feature set, including a set of faceted search and content delivery tools designed to attract and engage the partner community.
